David Vince - Clearwater High School
Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 -David Vince enters his 27th year as a baseball coach, and his first as the head coach at Clearwater HS. He has 425 career wins and experience on the high school,college , and international levels.

Viking Alum
Tom Losauro - Bishop Verot High School
Wednesday, February 6th, 2008 - Tom LoSauro enters his 9th season as the Head Coach of the Viking baseball progam.  In that time, LoSauro as amassed 178 wins, five district championships, one regional championship, and a state finals appearance in 2000.  Prior to 1999, Tom LoSauro was an assistant coach for 8 seasons with BVHS and helped lead the Vikings to their 1994 state championship!

Ernie Padron - Florida Christian High School
Thursday, January 24th, 2008 - Ernie Padron begins his 11th year at the helm of the Florida Christian Baseball program.  The Patriots have won two State Championship Crowns during Coach Padron's tenure.

Mike Klekotka - Miami Palmetto High School
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008 - Coach "K" Graduated from the University of Miami and completed his Doctorate coursework and earned his Masters degree in Educational Leadership at Barry University.  Prior to coming to Palmetto Mike was employed with Gulliver Schools in various administrative positions.

Jessy Rodriguez - Ronald W. Reagan-Doral Senior High School
Friday, December 7th, 2007 -Coach Rodriguez is entering his second year as the Head Baseball Coach at Ronald Reagan/Doral Senior High. This was Coach Rodriguez' first Head Coaching job.

Kristopher Parrish - Wiregrass Ranch High School
Monday, December 3rd, 2007 - Coach Parrish begins his varsity coaching career at Wiregrass Ranch High School after serving as assistant coach and head JV coach the past two years at Wesley Chapel under the guidance of Coach Eric Shafer.

Monday, December 3rd, 2007 -

 Coach Leppla is gratified to be a part of Wiregrass Ranch High School's inaugural baseball coaching staff.  He has served the last two years coaching at Freedom High School in Tampa.

Marc Conti - West Florida High School
Tuesday, November 27th, 2007 - Coach Marc Conti has been the face of the Jaguars since they began playing baseball at West Florida High School.  In 2004, the Jags played their first season as a varsity club.

Braulio Hernandez - Florida Bible High School
Wednesday, November 21st, 2007 -Coach Braulio Hernandez is entering his second year as the Head Coach for the Warriors. Coach Hernandez has previously served as an assistant coach for the Warriors (2005), University School(2004), and Miami Christian School(2001).

Ed Doskow - Miami Southridge High School
Monday, November 19th, 2007 - Ed Doskow graduated from Miami Southwest Senior High School in 1988. He than attended Central Florida C.C. on a baseball scholarship. After his two years he than attended Barry University in 1991-92. In 1992 he led the baseball team with a 6-2 record and a #8 National Ranking.

A Winning Tradition
Mike Boswell - Bolles High School
Monday, November 19th, 2007 - Mike Boswell joined the Bolles baseball staff in 2002 as an assistant coach and played a key role in the Bulldogs' state championship that season. He became head coach in 2004, leading the team to district titles that season and in 2005 and to the regional finals in 2005.

A Living Legend
Rich Hofman - Piper High School
Sunday, November 18th, 2007 -Hofman grew up in Racine Wisconsin, where he played Little League, Pony League and High School Baseball.  He graduated from Washington Park High School where he lettered as a junior and a senior.  He graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he lettered his sophomore, junior and senior years. He was the co-captain his junior year and captain his senior year.

Eric Entrekin - Ocoee High School
Thursday, November 15th, 2007 -  Coach Eric Entrekin brings many years of high level coaching experience to a baby of a program.  He has coached in two of the most prestigious collegiate amateur summer leagues from 1991-1994.

Jorge Perez - Gulliver Prep High School
Friday, November 9th, 2007 - Coach Perez enters his second season as the head baseball coach at Gulliver Prep with expectations of his squad making a run at the state championship.  Perez is enthusiastic about this year's team and believes it has the pitching and balance needed to compete at a very high level.   Now that his first season is over, he hopes that the team's philosophy, good work ethic, and will to win give the team the necessary ingredients to be playing very late into the post-season.

R.C. Ganser - Gulliver Prep High School
Friday, November 9th, 2007 -  R.C. is in his fifth year as a baseball coach at Gulliver having coached on all three levels:  grade school, junior varsity and varsity.

Tony Meilan - Belen Jesuit High School
Thursday, November 8th, 2007 - Tony begins his 8th year at the helm of The Wolverines baseball program as head coach. In 2003 he was named Coach of the Year by The Miami Herald. He graduated from Barry University with BS degree in Sports Management.

Broward County Coach of the Year
DEAN FLORIO - Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School
Wednesday, November 7th, 2007 -

  Prior to Douglas, Coach Florio was an assistant coach at Coconut Creek High School.  He played second base on one of the school's most successful teams, which was ranked as high as 10th in the nation.

Aaron Clark - Leon High School
Wednesday, November 7th, 2007 - Coach Clark enters his eighth year as the Lions Head Coach.  He is a 1989 graduate of Leon High, where he was a three year starter and a member of the 1987 final four team.  He was chosen as MVP, All Big Bend, and All-State in 1989.

Monday, November 5th, 2007 -

 Ray Evans enters his fifth season as the Falcons Head Coach. The 19 year veteran guided a talented group of seniors to their 3rd consecutive State Final Four Appearance in 2007. In only 4 seasons at Flanagan, Evans has compiled a 98-27-1 record...

Thursday, November 1st, 2007 -

 Coach Murphy is entering his 36th year as a head coach.  His resume is impressive to say the least. 


A Former Pro
Scott Grove - Timber Creek High School
Wednesday, October 31st, 2007 -Coach Grove was drafted by the Atlanta Braves out of  Douglas County High School in 1987 and picked up by the Toronto Blue Jays 1991 in the Major League Rule 5 Draft. He retired from professional baseball in 1994 after having shoulder surgery. Since playing pro ball, Coach Grove has coached at St. Petersburg Community College. and Seminole Community College. 
 

Defending Champs
Mike Posey - North Florida Christian High School
Monday, October 29th, 2007 -

 Coach Posey has been the varsity baseball coach at NFC since 1984 and his teams have recorded 454 wins during that time. He has been named 2A Coach of the Year in the state of Florida twice (1995, 2004). Coach Posey recently served as the head coach for the north team in the recent Florida Coaches Association All Star game played annually in Sebring , Florida at the conclusion of the season.

Coach Olsen is one of the up and coming head coahes in the state.  His resume speaks for itself!


Jeff Steinman
Jeff Steinman - Vero Beach High School
Wednesday, October 24th, 2007 -

  Jeff Steinman was born in Logansport, IN and graduated from Logansport High School in 1972. He received his B.S.degree in 1976 and M.S. degreein 1980 from Indiana State University while playing baseball. In his 19 years as head coach, the Indians have a record of 379-174, for a winning percentage of .685.


Coach Hickox begins his 3rd season as Head Coach of the Wolves
Tommy Hickox - Deltona High School
Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 -He took over the program after three seasons as an assistant at Deltona. Coach Hickox has numerous years of coaching experience, both at the collegiate and high school level.

Coach Sims enters his fourth season as the head baseball coach of the Bulldogs
Dusty Sims - Flagler Palm Coast High School
Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 -

Coach Sims enters his fifth season as the head baseball coach of the Bulldogs. Sims was named the head baseball coach and English teacher at FPC in January of 2004. The FPC baseball program has compiled a 56-48 record since Coach Sims' arrival.
